![]() DESCRIPTION: The "Gazebo" MBR Membrane Bio-Reactor purification plant, monobloc prefabricated in VRC, was made by the technicians of the Water Purification Department of Gazebo SpA and it is the result of the company's long experience in the treatment of public waste water. It is made in mass Rck>400kg/cmq concrete, vibrated on metal caissons and steam seasoned, open face, with total elimination of porosity and gravel clumps, with internal steel reinforcement with upgraded adhesion and electrically welded square and rectangular mesh type FeB 44K, factory tested, in compliance with the 1st Category Anti-earthquake law. In the MBR (Membrane Bio Reactors) plant, the technology of organic depuration with activated sludge is combined with that of mud micro-filtration through membranes, which replace the traditional secondary decanters. The highly efficient filtration of membranes allows maintaining mud concentrations whose values are significantly higher than those obtained by traditional systems; this increases the system's purifying capacity with the mud's age increase and consequently reduction of the mud quantity to be disposed; it also allows respecting the bacterial limits without disinfection treatments. The MBR plant is particularly appropriate in the following cases: when a high-quality out-flow is needed (e.g. draining in sensitive areas), when a low content of totally solvable solids is necessary, when the purified water is used again (e.g. for irrigation) or when the space available is limited. The MBR system can be integrated into a traditional plant as a replacement of the sedimentation and disinfection phase. The standard treatment cycle goes through different compartments such as: primary sedimentation, aeration, wastewater filtration. The automatic functioning of the electro-mechanic equipment is run by a local control panel. The treatment capacity of the MBR Purification Plant varies from 10 to a maximum of 1.000 equivalent inhabitants. Plants with bigger capacity can also be produced with the same technology. RECIPIENTS: Small rural and urban communities, manufacturing and commercial companies, one-family houses, camping sites, tourism facilities, etc. SECTORS OF USE: Residential and industrial settlements. ACCESSORIES AVAILABLE ON DEMAND: Driveway/pedestrian coverings, manholes, holes, internal/external coating (painting), special materials (stainless steel).
