![]() OIL SEPARATOR ACCORDING TO UNI EN 858 ![]() DESCRIPTION:
The "GAZEBO" LAMINAR PACK STATIC OIL SEPARATORS, prefabricated in vibrated reinforced concrete, are made from RcK 400 kg/sq cm concrete, vibrated on metal caissons and steam cured, reinforced with internal ribs, open face, with total elimination of porosity and gravel nests, with internal steel reinforcement with upgraded adhesion and electrically-welded square mesh type FeB 44K, factory tested, in compliance with Anti-earthquake law Cat. 1. This type of oil separator features a PVC laminar pack inserted in a reinforced concrete tank and is complete with vibration sensor to detect the separated oil level, max oil level light indicator and butterfly solenoid valve for interrupting the sewage flow. The main advantages of using a laminar separator instead of traditional separators consists chiefly of a 20-fold surface reduction, the elimination of preferential currents, the considerable flexibility of operation in accordance with changes in capacity, low maintenance and very long life. PROCESS: The module for separation of non-emulsified oily substances of mineral origin is based on the difference of density between these substances and the liquid containing them. Therefore, oily particles of lower density tend to rise to the surface (phenomenon of flotation). It is evident that in order to get a well-done separation very wide surfaces are needed; to reduce the dimensions of the tank without altering the separation surfaces, obtaining oil separators with a high degree of efficiency, experimental studies realized by our technical experts developed the laminar separation technique, (the total surface is a function of the number of the superposed lamellas, calculating as a single surface the projection of the same surface on the plane). At the oil separator outlet, an open-cell reticular polyurethane filter is fitted that is resistant to solvents. The purpose of this filter is to trap oil micro-particles that have not separated from the water in the laminar pack, thereby ensuring an effluent in conformity with the requirements of applicable regulations. RECIPIENTS: Companies, state and private institutes. FIELDS OF USE: These separators are mainly used in mechanical workshops, car washes, demolition sites, petrol filling stations and in all operations where oily substances are used. OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES: Internal anticorrosion treatment - driveway/pedestrian coverings - man-hole covers, holes, special materials (stainless steel and others). PHOTO GALLERY:
