Anaerobic Percolator Filters with Imhoff Tank



DESCRIPTION:
The "GAZEBO" PERCOLATOR FILTERS, prefabricated in vibrated reinforced concrete, are monobloc and made from RcK > 400 kg/sq cm concrete, vibrated on metal caissons and steam cured, reinforced with internal ribs, open face, with total elimination of porosity and gravel nests, with internal steel reinforcement with upgraded adhesion and electrically-welded square mesh type FeB 44K, factory tested, in compliance with Anti-earthquake law Cat. 1.
These are then filled inside with black isotactic polypropylene. These products have been designed to meet the requirements of housing complexes, the wastewaters of which do not flow into the municipal sewage network, and are the result of long experience in the field of sewage treatment.

GAZEBO S.p.A. has combined an Imhoff tank with the percolator filter (aerobic or anaerobic), thereby obtaining an inexpensive and functional treatment plant without any management costs. The bulk isotactic polypropylene filling bodies, which represent the support on which the bacterial flora that metabolise pollutants will grow, have shown themselves to be especially suitable because they do not cause blockages, do not putrefy and are lightweight (dry weight 38 kg/cu m), easy to use and feature large surfaces with a high degree of vacuum - vacuum percentage 95% and surfaces above 140 sq m/cu m compared to vacuum percentages of 40% and surfaces below 60 sq m / cu m of stone materials.

The large vacuum volume permits reducing the dimensions of the percolator filter; these special materials permit adopting loads of 1.000 l/inhabitant, without any fear of blockages and with BOD5 reductions above 60-70%.
